We are launching a call for applications for a one-week Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme hosted by Tallinn University, Estonia. The programme, titled “Baltic Sea Region and Cooperation,” offers a comprehensive introduction to the region through historical, political, environmental, economic, and cultural perspectives. It brings together experts and participants from several partner institutions and is designed to equip students with analytical tools for understanding regional cooperation in the Baltic Sea area.

The BIP consists of both virtual and physical components.
The virtual part will take place 3–31 March 2026 and includes independent study supported by video lectures and reading materials, written assignments for each topic, collaboration with Tallinn University students and participants from partner universities, and scheduled online meetings (03/03, 17/03, 31/03). During this phase, students will also prepare group presentations for the physical week.

The physical component will be held in Tallinn from 6–10 April 2026. It will consist of seminars and discussions, student group presentations, guest lectures by practitioners involved in regional cooperation, and two field trips—one outside Tallinn and another to an organisation active in Baltic Sea cooperation. Field trip costs are covered by the BIP. Optional social and cultural activities (e.g., guided Old Town walk) are also included.
