International Cooperation

The Institute of European Studies maintains scientific and teaching contacts with many universities, both in Europe and in other parts of the world, and it develops cooperation with European Parliament agencies, the European Commission, embassies, consulates and foreign think-tanks. Our employees are regularly invited to international conferences, expert panels and gues lectures. We also publish analyses, articles and monographs, co-authored by colleagues from foreign universities and institutions.

Each academic year, several dozen students of the Institute of European Studies take advantage of the opportunity to go abroad with available scholarships. The Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programmes are the most popular, but an extensive network of contacts also allows students to study in the United States, Canada or Israel. The Institute of European Studies has over 60 partnership agreements with various academic institutions in Europe and around the world. We regularly receive invitations for our students to participate in various projects, trainings and summer schools. Every semester, our Institute receives numerous students and lecturers from partner universities abroad.
