Department of European Political Processes
Prof. Dr. hab Pacześniak has been professionally associated with the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wroclaw since 2005 and throughout the years 2011-2018 she was also employed as a lecturer at the Institute of European Studies at the Free University of Brussels. She has won numerous scholarships, namely: a scholarship from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, a scholarship from the French Government, the Scholarship for Excellence Wallonia-Brussels International and a scholarship by the Bekker Bational Agency for Academic Exchange. She obtains and implements grants from the National Science Center. From 2020 to 2023, Prof. Dr. hab. Pacześniak was a permanent advisor to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the European Union of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. She has written almost 150 publications: books, articles and chapters on parties and party systems in Poland and Europe, the process of Europeanisation, the functioning of European parties, and women in politics. She publishes her work in Polish, English, French and one of her articles was even published in Chinese. Regularly, she delivers papers at scientific conferences of the European Consortium for Political Research, the American Political Science Association, the International Political Science Association, the Association Française de Science Politique, and the Polish Society of Political Science.
