Our PhD Candidates Joined Erasmus+ BIP in Prague
Five of our PhD candidates recently participated in the BIP Erasmus+ programme at Metropolitní univerzita Praha. This short-term mobility offered them a valuable opportunity to engage in international academic exchange, attend specialized workshops, and connect with peers from across Europe.

Blended Intensive Program in Portugal
Our BA and MA students took part in the Erasmus+ BIP programme “Democracy and Political Communication – the Role of Social Media” at Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI). The programme offered them a rich learning experience focused on digital media’s impact on democracy, along with international collaboration and exchange.

On June 23–24, we hosted the academic conference “1000 Years of Poland in Europe – Reflections and Future Visions” at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The event gathered scholars to explore Poland’s historical and contemporary place in Europe, marking key anniversaries and looking ahead to future challenges and opportunities.

From Wrocław to Philadelphia: Sharing European Insights Abroad
Professors Małgorzata Michalewska-Pawlak and Monika Klimowicz took part in an international conference at Temple University, where they presented on the mythologization of the Green Deal and the EU’s response to an ageing society. The visit included a stop at historic Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
