What an incredible Orientation Day we had for our Erasmus+ and full-time MA in European Studies students today! 
It was amazing to see so many bright, eager minds united by their passion. The energy was electrifying! 
We can’t wait to watch you all embark on this journey filled with knowledge, culture, and unforgettable experiences. Here’s to new friendships, exciting adventures, and a fantastic year ahead!
Guest lecture by prof. Krupavičius
We had the honour of hosting Prof. Algis Krupavičius from Mykolo Romerio universitetas in Vilnius, Lithuania 
, for a series of thought-provoking guest lectures on “Democratic Backsliding from a Global Perspective.” 
His insights into the challenges democracy faces worldwide were illuminating and sparked engaging discussions. A huge thank you to Algis for sharing his expertise with us!

The Institute of European Studies had the honor of hosting Prof. Natalia Putina from Moldova State University (Universitatea de Stat din Moldova) for a compelling guest lecture on Transnistria! Her insights into the region’s complex political landscape and its implications for European security were both enlightening and thought-provoking. Study trip to Ślęża
We wrapped up an incredible study trip to the top of Ślęża hill! The weather was absolutely perfect, with a clear sky allowing us to take in the breathtaking views of the Great European Plain below. 
From our scenic vantage point, we dove into discussions about how this magnificent lowland landscape affects the geopolitics of Central and Eastern Europe. Who would have thought a hilltop could serve as such a dynamic classroom? Check out our picture in the first comment as proof that we actually had the outdoor lecture
